I was a Registered Nurse for 2.5 years. My nursing experience has taught me how to work in high pressure situations, how to be agile and switch focus on the drop of a dime and how to communicate effectively with both, professionals across a multidisciplinary team, and in laymens terms with patients. Most importantly, though, nursing has taught me that life is too short to be unhappy.
I have a newfound love for traveling. I love immersing myself in a new culture and learning their customs and traditions. Like the picture above? It's a picture from my trip to Jordan. I was lucky enough to ride through the desert, Wadi Rum, and have tea with the bedouins.
I spend my free time doing any and all types of puzzles. Jigsawaws, crosswords, word scrambles, riddles, sudoku, you name it. My love for puzzles and brain teasers is what got me into coding. I was in a slump at work, feeling like I wasn't being challenged enough. A few friends recommended I check out codeacademy and the rest is history.
